Our Story
Telescope Boss is a project by husband and wife team Corey and Sabina Dallmeyer. They enjoy astronomy with their large family and small town.
They now host regular outreach events for their small town. They work with schools and homeschool groups to show others the wonders of the night sky.
They are building this website to help more people enjoy astronomy together with friends and family.
When we started doing research for the website we had two big moments of clarity.
First, we found that many astronomers do this alone, they do not share the hobby with their friends or family. They sited their wives and families as hobby killers.
We knew that we wanted to change that! We wanted to inspire families to enjoy this hobby together.
Second, we got connected with a professor who was writing a book on astronomy mentorship. I guess the stars aligned and we knew we were on the right track.
We launched the Telescope Boss website and YouTube channel in 2021.
We are building a skookie to take our astronomy trips to the next level.
